I stand by my original comment. Islam was late to the party. By the time it arrived, the Egyptians had perfected architecture; the Greeks, philosophy; the Christians, religion. Islam conserved these ideas. However, the post wasn't about what Islam did for the world in the sciences. It was about how Islam was the end result of a ultra pasteurized religious experience.
