Julian and Maya had been together for six years when everything changed. They were that couple everyone assumed would last forever — always smiling in photos, finishing each other’s sentences, the whole deal.

But as time passed, life got in the way. Julian became consumed by his career while Maya juggled work, friendships, and ambitions. They weren’t fighting; instead, they drifted into a routine where each coexisted more than they connected.

Then Julian messed up. He had a fling with a coworker during a business trip. It wasn’t planned, and he regretted it almost immediately, but the damage was done.
